For app support, privacy requests, or urgent reports of abusive content, contact hello.launchdesk@gmail.com. Include your app version and a description of the issue. Never send a recovery code, password, bank details, or payment credentials.
Open the event conversation, select Report or block on a message, and explain the problem. You can manage blocked profiles in Settings.
In Settings, create a recovery code and store it somewhere private. On the new phone, sign in with a previously linked email, phone, Google, or Apple identity. For profiles without a linked sign-in method, choose Restore with a recovery code and enter the code. Recovery signs out the previous device and consumes the code. Create a fresh code after recovery. Without a linked sign-in method or saved recovery code, the service cannot establish that an old profile is yours.
In the app, open Settings → Delete my profile and confirm. To request deletion from outside the app, email hello.launchdesk@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Gather profile”. Include your Gather display name and describe the records you want removed. We must verify your ownership before acting; we will explain any verification steps in our reply. Never email your recovery code or access token.
Deletion removes your profile, access and recovery credentials, hosted events, authored messages, reports and blocks. Shared guest entries are anonymized; numeric charges and receipts remain for other members’ records, while your private receipt notes and payment-method labels are removed. Other people’s independently authored content and exported copies are not removed. Cloudflare retains encrypted database recovery history for up to 30 days. Deleted records may remain in that recovery history until it expires. No separate application backups are retained. See the privacy policy for details.
Gather records payments and refunds completed elsewhere. It does not hold or transfer money. External platform links do not automatically import messages, RSVPs, or payment history.
